Background of the Study
Customer feedback is an essential tool for businesses looking to improve product quality and enhance customer satisfaction. For small businesses, especially local soap makers, customer feedback mechanisms can provide invaluable insights into product preferences, quality expectations, and potential areas for improvement (Adesola, 2023). In Adamawa State, local soap makers have been leveraging customer feedback to refine their products and meet the demands of their customers. However, many small-scale producers struggle to implement effective feedback systems due to resource constraints and limited understanding of customer relationship management.

This study seeks to appraise how customer feedback mechanisms can improve product quality for local soap makers in Adamawa State. It will explore how these businesses gather, analyze, and use feedback to enhance their products, as well as the challenges they face in this process.
